Jewellery worth Rs 3 lakh robbed from house in Bhatkal

Karwar: Burglars broke into a house at Chitrapur in Bhatkal and escaped with valuables.
The burglars targeted the house of Sridevi Venkatramana Bhat, situated near Shirali Railway Bridge, after seeing that no one was home. The owner of the house alleged that the burglars stole gold ornaments worth Rs 3 lakh.
The police along with forensic specialists went to the spot and gathered proof. A case has been registered at the Bhatkal Police Station.
