Shiroor Seer’s death: High level probe demanded

Udupi: A high level probe into the case of unnatural death of Shiroor Sri Lakshmivara Theertha Swamiji has been demanded by the Shiroor Seer Admirers’ Committee.
On August 11th, the committee met at the Mathura Chatra in Udupi and put forth the demand for a high level probe into the Seer’s death. The meeting also decided to seek the assistance of donors to organise a Huli Vesha contest by setting up a Vittala Vedike on the occasion of Vitlapindi as per the wish of the late seer. A public condolence meeting in honour of the seer was also proposed during the meeting.
