Mandya: The ashes of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee which was brought to the state was immersed in Paschimavahini.
Huge procession let by elaborate rituals were performed by BJP state president BS Yeddyurappa. The ashes were immersed at 1:30 pm. Security was beefed up and BJP workers and followers attended the program.
BJP leaders Ananth Kumar, Shobha Karandalaje, Prathap Simha, R Ashok among others were present.
