Three killed, 10 injured in KSRTC, pvt bus collision

Tumkur: Three persons were killed and 10 others seriously injured in a road accident involving a KSRTC and a private bus on the National Highway 4 near Shira here today (Tuesday).

KSRTC bus driver Parameswara Naik (50), a resident of Karwar, Nikhita (27), KSRTC bus passenger and  Dhanraj (45), driver of the private bus died on the spot in the accident. The injured have been shifted to a hospital for treatment.

The accident took place when the private bus collided into the KSRTC bus, en route towards Chitradurga from the rear. 

A case has been registered.
