Harassment by stranger; Flash strike by Mangalore University students

Managluru: After a stranger misbehaved and harassed a few girl students in the University campus, students of Mangalore University boycotted classes and resorted to a flash protest demanding action against the stranger on Thursday, August 30th.
Incident synopsis
It is said that on August 29th, the stranger who was riding a bike tried to harass the students who were walking inside the campus. It is alleged that the issue was not taken seriously by the University management even though the girls had immediately complained to the management.
The students started a flash protest outside the Administrative Block against the apathy of the management and want the management to act against the culprit after securing the CCTV footage.
Consequently, the University officials met the protesting students and assured action, but the students were adamant and want the Vice Chancellor to arrive to the spot.
