Chinese man, impaled by rod plays games on cell as he waits for ambulance

Much to the astonishment of many, a Chinese man, who had been impaled by a four-meter-long rod through his chest in a road accident maintained a calm composure and continued playing games on his mobile while waiting for medical help to arrive.

The bizarre incident took place in China’s Liaoyang city last week. The rod had pierced through the man’s upper chest reportedly after he had rammed his car into a guardrail.

In a video that has gone viral, the man can be seen cooly playing games on his mobile phone as he waits for the ambulance. The video footage also shows him being shifted into an ambulance by the paramedic staff. He is seen checking his phone while being loaded onto the ambulance as well. The video has garnered over 604 million views.
