Bengaluru: A student has been allegedly assaulted by a bar and restaurant staff at Sadashivnagar police station limits on Monday.
The victim has been identified as Rutwick Paritosh from Bihar.
It has been reported that, Paritosh along with his friends went to the bar and ordered alcohol and dinner. As the order took time to be delivered, Paritosh questioned the waiter but got delayed even further.
The delay in delivery led to heated arguement and then the bouncer had to get intervened.
In his complaint, Paritosh charged that the bouncer allegedly grabbed a beer bottle and hit him on his head.
However, a police official privy to the probe said there was a fight in the bar and in a fit of rage the bouncer had pushed Paritosh, following which he sustained injuries. On Monday, Paritosh registered a complaint with Sadashivnagar police, who arrested the hotel staff and the bouncer and produced them before a magistrate. Later, the trio was released on bail.
