CM Kumarswamy felicitates Asian Games Gold Medalist Poovamma

Mangaluru: Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, on his visit to Mangaluru, felicitated Poovamma who has brought victory to the country by winning gold in Asian Games 2018.

The CM handed over the cheque of Rs 25 lakh for winning gold medal and Rs 15 lakh for winning the silver medal in Asian Games 2018. He also promised her to allot a site.

Povamma thanked Chief Minister’s gesture of hounouring her. Women and Children’s Development Minister Dr. Jayamala congratulated her. MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLC Kota Srinivas Poojary, DC Sashikanth Senthil and others were present on the occasion.
