23-year-old woman commits suicide at Manki

Karwar: A young woman was found dead at a railway track here on Friday.

The incident occurred at Manki of Honnavar taluk of the Uttarkannada district.

The deceased has been identified as Malina Gowda (23), from Honnavar.

It has been reported that the deceased worked in Mangaluru and had returned home two weeks ago.

Her body was completed destroyed and was lying on the track when the Ernakulam-Pune Purna Express passed that way. 

The reason behind her suicide is not known. A case has been registered with the Manki police.
