Road mishap in Bengaluru kills Mother-daughter from Kundapur

Kundapura/Bengaluru: a mother and her three-year-old daughter were killed after a vehicle rammed into their two-wheeler here in Bengaluru on September 13th. The deceased have been identifed as Surekha (30) and her daughter Aradhya. They are residents of Vandse in Kundapur. The tragic accident also injured her husband Raghu.
Surekha along with her husband and daughter were returning home after offering pooja when the accident occurred near Lumbini garden in Hebbal at around 11 pm on Thursday. Raghu was running a bakery near the rented house where the family was residing. On the fateful day, the family had been to their relatives’ house in Byatarayanapura to offer pooja on the occasion of Ganesha festival.
As the family reached Lumbini garden, a vehicle hit their two-wheeler in the rear end. Both the mother and daughter were thrown on the road and were run over by the same vehicle. The mother and daughter died on the spot.
The injured Raghu was shifted to hospital by the police. The vehicle that hit the two-wheeler is yet to be traced.
