Artist Dinesh Holla donates his earning to fund education of tribal children

Mangaluru: In a humanitarian gesture well-known artist Dinesh Holla has donated one-third of his income, earned through the sale of his artworks at the Dieppe International Kite Festival for the education of tribal children.
Holla is a member of Team Mangaluru which had represented the country at the kite festival held at France recently. In fact, one of Holla’artwork was chosen as the official poster of the Dieppe International Kite Festival.
Nearly 30 per cent of his artworks, displaying the cultural heritage of Tulunadu as also the tribal lifestyle found buyers at the exhibition.
An environmental crusader Holla hopes that these children will grow up to become forest officials someday.
