Police seize illegally stocked sand near Tannirbavi

Tannirbavi: Illegally store sand worth Rs 4.5 lakhs and a JCB worth Rs 20 lakhs were seized by Panambur Police who raided two separate places at Nayarkudru near Tannirbavi on Saturday, September 22nd.
Based on a definite tip off, the police conducted the raid and secured the illegally stored sand in the area. The seized sand has been entrusted to the Department of Mines and Geology. According to sources, a few locals were involved in this illegal act.
