Bengaluru: The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) submitted to the Karnataka High Court on Monday that all potholes in Malleswaram West Zone (7 wards out of 44), Mahalakshmi Layout West Zone (7 wards) and Yelahanka Zone (four wards out of 11) had been filled.
BBMP claimed that included 90 per cent of the roads in the city are free from potholes.
However the HC set up a two-member commission to inspect the quality of the repair.
“The Commission, comprising Ms M.G.Uma, Member Secretary, Karnataka State Legal Services Authority, and Mr Dinesh Agrawal, Superintending Engineer, CWE (Army), Bengaluru, is requested to visit the areas in question and report on the status of the work,” the court said.
