Fire engulfs shop on busy GHS road

Mangaluru: A fire broke out at a shop on the busy Ganapati High School (GHS) Road in city on Thursday, September 27.
Two shops namely Selection Centre and Kamath & Co were engulfed in the flames which erupted due to a possible short circuit. Luckily no human casualties have been reported in the incident.
Pandeshwar fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and are trying to douse the fire. City police commissioner T R Suresh, DCP Uma Prashanth, Mayor Bhaskar Moily and others visited the spot.
