Security beefed up in all sensitive areas as Ayodhya verdict is expected today

Bengaluru: Security has beefed up across all sensitive areas today as the Supreme Court judgement on the Ayodhya case is expected.
The police department have informed all the distritc Superintendents of Police to deploy additional police forces at all sensitive areas to prevent any untoward incident.
A senior police informed that all the SPs are directed to be at the headquarters and keep a check on the developments across their jurisdiction.
“The KSRP and additional forces are kept in standby. Insensitive cities including Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Hubballi-Dharwad, and Belagavi already additional police personnel are deployed as a precautionary measure,” he said.
