In two days, buses to pass through Shiradi Ghat road?

Mangaluru: Instruction has been given to open Shiradi Ghat road for bus traffic in two days time, informed District in-charge minister U T Khader has informed that on Thursday, September 27th.
Meeting at DC’s office
Mr Khader said, “During the meeting held at deputy commissioner’s (DC) office with highway officials, it was decided to coordinate with Hassan DC to allow the bus movement on Shiradi Ghat Road.”
“Deployment of police personnel at some important points of the Ghat stretch was discussed during the meeting. For now, goods vehicles will be asked to use Charmadi Ghat road. It was also decided to speed up the work at Sampaje road,” the minister added.
Kulur Bridge
Speaking about the dilapidated condition of th Kulur Bridge Mr Khader said, “Kulur Bridge is in bad condition. Highway officials have been told take up the construction of new bridge as at the soonest.”
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sasikanth Senthil said, “We need to get more information from Hassan district administration about Shiradi Ghat. Based on that, we will take a decision on Monday.”
