Tamil Nadu devotee gifts 1 kg gold sword to Kollur Mookambika temple

Kundapur: A devotee of Tamil Nadu origin has gifted a golden sword, weighing around 1 kg as a token of his dedication to the famous Kollur Sri Mookambika temple
Dr Nalin Kumar who had vowed to gift a golden sword to the deity at the temple once his prayers were answered, handed over the offering to the Managing trustee of the temple on October 3, 2018. The value of the sword is estimated at around Rs 30 lakhs.
Earlier, Late M.G. Ramachandran, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu had offered a golden sword to Goddess Mookambika.
