Sahyadri college granted status of 12(B) of UGC Act 1956 by UGC

Mangaluru: Sahyadri is one among the few colleges of the State who have been recognized by the Apex Body of Government of India. 

With this recognition, Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management, Mangaluru has become eligible to receive Central assistance grants for projects, funding for students and faculty for overall development of the Institute and in higher education. 

Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management is now declared fit to receive  Central assistance in terms of rules framed under Section 12 (B) of the UGC Act, 1956. 

Faculty and students can now also receive UGC’s support with respect to projects related to technical education & Management. This recognition is based on infrastructure facilities available in the college and also the quality of education imparted to the students.
