Bengaluru: Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) plans to widen the Begur Road road stretch which will benifit residents of Hosur Road, Jigani and Bannerghatta Road.

The BBMP has floated a Detailed Project Report (DPR) to widen the Begur Road.

BBMP official stated that the Project Report is almost ready and will be completed soon. Tenders will be called for this project and should happen by January, 2019. Once done, it will help the residents of these areas to a great extent.

According to BBMP, this Begur Road widening project will reduce at least 20% of the traffic along Hosur Road, Silk Board and Bannerghatta Road.
