Youth dies after being struck by lightning

Udupi: A youth was killed after being struck by lightning on Friday, October 19, at Kaikamba, in the Marne village here.

Prashanth Pai,36, is the deceased. He was working with a software firm in Bengaluru.

Reportedly, Prashanth had arrived in Marne to visit his relatives. It is learnt that Prashant was struck by the lightning when he had alighted from his car to visit a nearby shop.
