Drug peddler arrested in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Police arrested a man and recovered 750 grams of opium worth Rs 3 lakh from him.
The accused has been identified as Bera Ram (32) from Nayandahalli.
It has been learnt that, based on credible information the police went near Gopalan Residency in Telecom Layout where Ram was waiting for customers. The police arrested him and seized 50 grams of opium.
Ram was taken to his house where he used to store all the drugs. He revealed that he brings the drugs from Rajasthan by train and sell it to youths and college students.
The KP Agrahara police have registered a case and are investigating to unearth the source of the drugs.
