Bengaluru: The Cubbon Park police investigating the sexual harassment charges levied by Sandalwood actor Sruthi Hariharan against her co-actor Arjun Sarja, during the shooting of ‘Vismaya’ movie have begun analysing the rehearsal videos to verify her claims.

Sruthi had alleged that Sarja had sexually harassed her on the movie sets way back in 2015.

In the complaint, registered on Saturday, Sruthi alleged that Sarja had inappropriately touched her while rehearsing for a scene that required them to hug. She claimed she silently suffered as she was an upcoming artiste at that time while Sarja being an established artiste enjoyed a lot of clout.

The police have watched the clippings of the movie and other videos taken during the shooting and rehearsal and have also sought unedited video footage of the movie, which would be included as part of the evidence. The police plan to submit a preliminary report before the metropolitan magistrate court and seek time to summon Sruthi to give her statement before the magistrate.

It is learnt that the police may record statements of people, involved in the shooting of the movie, including that of Sarja.
