Humanity Trust Founder Roshan D’Souza chosen for Pingara Rajyotsava Award 2018

Mangaluru: Roshan D’Souza, Founder of Humanity Trust, Belman has been chosen for the Pingara Rajyotsava Award 2018. The award will be conferred on him at a ceremony to be held at Town Hall on November 13, informed Pingara weekly Editor Raymond D’Cunha.
Speaking to media reporters here on Monday, October 29, Monday, D’Cunha said, Bishop of Mangaluru diocese, Rev Fr Peter Paul Saldanha will grace the ceremony as its chief guest. Sri Esha Vittaladasa Swamiji of Kemaru Math, Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath, MLC Ivan D’Souza, former MLA J R Lobo, former president of Konkani Sahitya Academy Roy Castelino, former chief of Kannada Sahitya Parishad Harikrishna Punaroor and SDPI State Chief Ilyas Mohammad Thumbay will be present at the award ceremony.
The jury members this year included Sadananda Perla from Mangaluru Akashavani, Elias Fernandes from Four Winds, Dr B G Suvarna, retired banker C J Pinto, Angelore Church Parish Priest Fr William Menezes apart from Roy Castelino and Harikrishna Punaroor.
