Veteran director M.S. Rajshekar passes away at 75

Bengaluru: Sandalwood filmmaker and director M.S. Rajshekar(75) breathed his last on Monday, October 29 in a Bengaluru hospital. M.S. Rajshekar was diagnosed with a lung infection and was undergoing treatment for the same at Vikaram hospital in the city.
M.S Rajshekar is known for his directorial debut with Dhruva Thare starring Dr. Rajkumar and went on to make successful films like Ratha Sapthami, Mana Mechchida Hudugi. He introduced Rajkumar’s second son Raghavendra Rajkumar to the cinema world in the leading role in of the movie Nanjundi Kalyana which also marked the debut of actress Malashree. He was also an esteemed member of a jury for the Karnataka State Film Awards in the year 2009.
He is survived by his wife and two children. As per the reports the funeral will be held on October 30.
