Issue an ordinance for Ram Mandir: Pejawar Seer to Centre

Udupi: Senior seer of Pejawar Math, Shri Vishweshateertha Swamiji has said that since an early court judgement for construction of Ram Mandir is not possible, the central government should instead issue an ordinance on it.
“The Supreme Court has adjourned an appeal in this connection to January. Therefore, the union government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi should issue an ordinance and get its approval from both the Houses. It is also the opinion of all the swamijis,” said the seer.
“A delegation has met President Ramnath Kovind. I too will join the delegation if it meets Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he added.
Shabarimale controversy
Responding to query by reporters on Shabarimale controversy, the seer said that he is neutral. “The Supreme Court has issued the judgement on one side. On the other side, there is friction between people’s opinion and tradition. My personal opinion is that, women should be allowed inside Shabarimale temple. They are allowed in other temples also. Therefore, the temple administration should take a decision. I will not speak about it,” he opinioned.
