Tulu film ‘Umil’ sold to Hindi!

Mangaluru: Coastalwood’s much-awaited movie ‘Umil’ has sold its Hindi dubbing rights even before relase and thereby has become he first Tulu film to be sold for Hindi dubbing. The rights have been sold to a Mumbai based company.
Tulu movie fans have been ardently waiting for the release of ‘Umil’ since the day it was announced as it is the first Coastalwood film with loads of graphics. The release date of the movie will be soon revealed by the director of the movie, Ranjith Suvarna.
Karunakar Shetty and Prajnesh are the producers of Umil and the VFX work of the film was completed in Canada.
The lead actor and actress of the movie are Umesh Mijar and Pooja Shetty respectively. The cast of the movie also includes Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Chethan Rai Mani, Sathish Bandale and Deepak Rai in prominent roles.
Umil movie has also garnered much hype with Sandalwood actor Punith Rajkumar having lent his voice to one of the songs of the movie. Two other songs in the movie has been sung by Arvind Bolar and Arjun Kapikad respectively. The lead actor Umesh Mijar too has sung a song in the movie.
