RPF detain three for possession Rs 1.65 crore unaccounted cash in train

Udupi: The railway police detained three persons for possession of approximately Rs 1.65 crore unaccounted money with them in a train.
According to the available information, three persons of Rajasthan origin were travelling in air-conditioned bogie of Netravathi Express moving from Mumbai to Kerala. The police grew suspicious of the persons and searched the luggage they were carrying. The search revealed cash of around Rs 1.65 crore in their possession for which they failed to produce any records.
The railway police in coordination with Manipal police are investigating the case. More details are awaited.
