BJP has offered me post of DCM: Shamanuru Shivashankarappa

Davanagere: Member of the Legislative Assembly of Davanagere South Assembly Constituency Shamanuru Shivashankarappa, on Saturday, November 3 said that the BJP has offered him the post of Deputy Chief Minister if he were to switch his loyalty.
Speaking to media persons at his residence Shivashankarappa said that BS Yeddyurappa has asked him to quit Congress party and join hands with BJP and also offered him the post of DCM if he were to do so.
However, the Congress legislator informed that he was not interested in becoming the DCM or in changing the party.
Shamanuru Shivashankarappa has been the Treasurer of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee for last three decades.
