Guv administers oath to K’taka HC judges

Bengaluru: Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala administered oath to the newly-appointed judges as well as the additional judges, recently appointed as permanent judges of Karnataka High Court at a ceremony held at Glasshouse, Rajbhavan on Saturday.

The judges were administered the oath in the presence of Chief justice of Karnataka High Court Dinesh Maheshwari, Chief Minister H.D.Kumaraswamy, Karnataka Law, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Krishna Byre Gowda and Chief Secretary T.M. Vijay Bhaskar.

Justice Kempaiah Somashekar, Justice Kotravva Somappa Mudagal, Justice Sreenivas Harish Kumar, Justice John Michael Cunha, Justice Basavaraj Andanagouda Patil, Justice Nangli Krishnarao Sudhindrarao, and Justice Hosur Bhujangaraya Prabhakara Sastry took oath as judges of Karnataka High Court whereas Ashok Golappa Nijagannavar, Hethur Puttaswamygowda Sandesh, Krishnan Natarajan, Pralhadrao Govindrao Mutalik Pati, and Appasaheb Shantappa Bellunke took oath as additional judges of Karnataka High Court.
