‘Stay back at home’, says HDK to those opposing Tipu Jayanti

Bengaluru: Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy on Tuesday, November 6 told that if the BJP party and the saffron outfits were not interested in celebrating Tipu Jayanti then they could stay back at home. 

Addressing press persons at his home office ‘Krishna’ Kumaraswamy said that he had never opposed Tipu Jayanti before. “Tipu Jayanthi celebration was initiated by BJP only. Why is it opposed to the celebrations now?,” he questioned.

“If anyone tries to disturb law and order situation on Saturday, November 10 severe actions will be taken against such people,” he informed

He further requested the people of the state to celebrate Tipu Jayanti meaningfully. He also warned people against damaging public and private properties in the name of any opposition. “If they are not interested in celebrating Tipu Jayanthi they are free to stay back at home,” he added.
