Subramanya Group Clash: Chaithra Kundapur, six others released on bail

Sullia: The fifth additional district court at Puttur has granted conditional bail to all the seven persons including Chaithra Kundapur, who were arrested on October 24 after the gang reported clash with another gang near Kashikatte at Subramanya in the taluk. The accused, who were under judicial custody, were released on Wednesday November 7th.

The bail was granted on November 5th under the direction of the Court that the accused furnish a bond of Rs 50,000 and produce a surety in Sullia court in order to be released.

The accused were unable to comply with the bail formalities, since it was a government holiday on November 6th. However, the accused were released after they produced the copy of the bail granted by the Puttur court and complied with the bail formalities on Wednesday.
