50 cops injured after roof collapses in Kerala’s Kannur

Kannur: Nearly 50 police personnel sustained injuries in a roof collapse that occurred at a beach resort in Kerala’s Kannur on Monday, November 12.
The police personnel were attending a study camp organised at the resort by the district committee of the police association when the roof caved in suspectedly due to faulty construction.
Of the injured three persons were shifted to a Mangaluru hospital while the others were given preliminary treatment at the local hospital, the police informed.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered against the owner of the resort.
