Bike-car collision near KPT kills rider

Nanthoor:  A bike rider died on the spot in an accident between a car and a KTM bike that took place near KPT at around 8 pm on Tuesday November 13th. The deceased is identified as Wilson Caniel D’Souza (26), son of Rafael D’Souza and Mable D’Souza and residents of Fajir. Evan Elroy Mendonca from Fajir is the pillion rider who suffered minor injuries.

According to sources, Wilson was riding his bike from Nanthoor to Kottara. As he was approaching KPT he lost control of his bike and rammed into the rear of a car. The impact hurled both the rider and the pillion to the road and Wilson died on the spot while the Evan survived with minor injuries.

The mortal remains of the deceased has been shifted to a private hospital and the pillion rider who suffered minor injuries has been admitted to the same hospital and is said to be recovering. North traffic police have registered a case in this regard.
