Illegal cattle transportation; two arrested

Bantwal: Two suspects were arrested by Vittal police on charges of transporting cattle illegally at Salethur on Wednesday November 14. The arrested are identified as Praveen Nayak, a resident of Kodimbadi and Jagadish Hegde, a resident of Berike.
The accused were found to be illegally transporting cattle in a Mahindra Jeep. They were nabbed red-handed by Vittal police giving ear to a definite tip-off. The operation was conducted by SI Yallappa and team.
Vittal police have registered a case in this regard.
