Start a cancer research institute in the name of Ananth Kumar: MLA tweets PM

Mangaluru: Post Union minister of chemicals and fertilizers H N Ananth Kumar demise due to cancer, a BJP MLA has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to start a cancer research institute in the name of the deceased minister.
BJP’s Belthnagady MLA Harish Poonja requested the PM for a research institute on Cancer through a tweet stating that many persons were losing their battle with cancer and the institute was the need of the hour.
“Dear @narendramodiji, We need to scale up the #research on #cancer. We have been losing friends, family and fellow countryman to this deadly demon. We lost our own Ananth Kumaar ji, please start a research institute in his name to do research on Cancer. #KillCancerSaveLife,” (SIC), Poonja tweeted on Wednesday.
Mr Poonja’s tweet evoked overwhelming response form netizens with mnay people emphasizing the need for setting up a research institute for cancer in India.
