Mangaluru: November 20 will be declared as public holiday on the occasion of Eid-Milad in Dakshina Kannada, announced District-in-charge minister U T Khader on Sunday November 18th.
Earlier, the public holiday had already been declared on November 21, however in DK it will be celebrated on November 20.
“I have written to the chief minister and the chief secretary to consider November 20 instead of November 21 as public holiday,” said Khader.
“We have requested all schools and government offices to function as usual on November 21,” he added.
