Traffic thrown out of gear after gas tanker topples at Nanthoor

Mangaluru: Traffic was thrown out of gear after a gas tanker toppled at Nanthoor in the wee hours of Wednesday, November 21.
The incident is said to have taken at around 4 am in the morning when the driver of the tanker lost control of the vehicle near Nanthoor circle here. Fortunately, no leakage of gas was reported in the mishap, however as a precautionary measure electricity supply in the area has been disconnected.
Meanwhile, efforts are on to remove the tanker from the spot, with help of cranes, which has caused obstruction to free flow of traffic on the otherwise busy road. Currently, traffic police have diverted vehicles going towards Kulshekar via Padil route.
