Swamiji accused of attempted sexual atrocity against actress

Mangaluru: A Swamiji has been accused of attempting to sexually abuse a lady by promising to give her opportunity to act in films and a case stands registered in this connection at Kadri police station in the city,
Kavya Acharya, who is a small screen actress, has filed this complaint against Dayananda Guru Nanjeshwara Swamiji. In her complaint she has named altogether five people including the sage.
Reportedly, the Swamiji had promised Kavya Acharya, who was in Thirthahalli then, of providing her an opportunity to act in films. Kavya said that instead of taking her to Bengaluru, the Swamiji had asked her to come to Hotel Tajmahal at Hampanakatta, Mangaluru. The Swamiji tried to commit sexual atrocity on her, accuses Kavya.
A case in this regard has been registered with Kadri police and investigation is being done.
