BC road – Addahole highway worj has not been cancelled

Speaking at a meeting under the leadership of MP Nalin on highway related works, NHAI planning director Lingegowda said the concretization work of the BC road-Addahole highway has been delayed due to technical problems. But it has not been terminated. 21 kms of the planned road comes within the limits of a sanctuary and is a wildlife corridor. As the central ministry for road transport has not yet given permission for four over-bridges and other additional proposals costing Rs 223 crore, the problem has occurred.
