Ambareesh’s ashes immersed in Cauvery Sangama

Mandya: The ashes of actor-politician M H Ambareesh was immersed by son Abhishek Gowda at Cauvery Sangama in Srirangapatna of Mandya district on Wednesday, November 28.

A team of priests performed rituals to the three urns of ashes on the banks of River Cauvery.  Abhishek performed all the rituals and immersed the ashes of his father at Cauvery Sangama in Srirangapatna.

Hundreds of fans had gathered along the roadside of Bengaluru-Mysuru highway and at the river bank to offer their respect to their favourite actor. Over 100 police personnel were deployed for the smooth conduction of the rituals.

Sumalatha Ambareesh, actors Darshan, Doddanna, producers Sandesh Nagaraj, Rockline Venkatesh, Muniratna, director Rajendrasingh Babu and close relatives of the family attended the ceremony.
