Mangaluru: The ‘World AIDS Day’ will be celebrated on the district level under the joint association of the Dakshina Kannada district administration and Zilla Panchayat, district health and family welfare department, district AIDS prevention and control unit, district legal services authority and non-governmental organizations at auditorium of Tejaswini College of Nursing at 10 am on December 1st.
A ‘Jana Jagrati Jatha’ programme will also be conducted as part of the celebration.
Zilla panchayat president Meenakshi Shantigodu will be inaugurating the programme, state a press release.
