Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar warned that that one lakh farmers across the state will picket in front of Suvarna Vidhan Soudha in Belagavi on the first day of winter session opposing the anti-farmers policy of the state government.
Addressing presspersons here on Sunday Jagadish Shetter informed that the Mega rally will be headed by BJP State president BS Yeddyurappa. He further added that a single farmer in the state has not benefited by the coalition government though it has been five months since the government came to power.
The party would also highlight the government’s failure to satisfy the needs of the sugarcane cultivators in the rally. The farmers have been cursing the coalition government and the previous government also, he added.
The coalition government is bothered only of three districts Hassan, Mandya and Ramangara they are not bothered about other districts and are also discriminating other districts when it comes to the government allowance, he added.
The JD(S) came to power believing that it would survive three-months but now is now living a bonus life and they may collapse anytime, he informed.
