Class 10 student killed in scooter-bus collision, two others critical

Kasaragod: A Class 10 student was killed while two others sustained serious injuries after a tourist bus rammed into their scooter near Kalnad Bridge here on Tuesday morning.

John (15) is the deceased person. The injured Arjun Ramesh (15) and Mubashir (15) have been admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru.

The accident took place when the students were on their way to the Chattanchal Higher Secondary School. The Kasargod-bound tourist bus rammed into their scooter injuring them seriously. Though locals rushed them to their aid, John succumbed to his wounds on the way to the hospital. 

A case has been registered with Bekal police.
