Another Rs 1 crore worth defamation case on Ambika!

Mangaluru: The accused Ambika Nayak, who is still absconding from the police in connection to the murder threat and extortion of Rs 1 crore from her husband has a new case filed against her. A case under IT law has been registered against her at Sanjaya Nagara police station in Bengaluru on charges of sending pornographic and abusive message to a childhood friend of hers. With this, Ambika Nayak’s game of deception is getting further revealed!

Ambika’s friends is currently living with her husband in Bengaluru. It is being alleged that Ambika Nayak has been sending pornographic, abusive and threatening messages to her friend and her husband from Dec 12, 2015 to Feb 10, 2016.

The friend has now registered a criminal defamation case with the 1st additional court Bengaluru and also particularly another case on defamation suit demanding Rs 1 crore compensation at the civil Court here. The case investigation has reached the final stages.

Sanjaya Nagara police had arrested Ambika Nayak and presented her before the Court. Later she was released on bail. Already 20 witnesses have been examined and the investigation is expected to e completed by April-May post which the judgement will be passed.

The third accused in the case, K Vasudeva Prabhu, a resident of Manipal and also Ambika’s father was arrested and presented before the court by Ullal police on Nov 27th.

Accused no yet located

Ambika Nayak and her friend B Manjunath, who are wanted in connection to giving murder threat to her husband and demanding Rs 1 crore have still not been located. There is information that the accused are attempting to avail anticipatory bail. It is being said that they had attempted to appear before the Court in Mangaluru through their lawyer on Wednesday, Dec 5th.
