Accident in Saudi: Two from Karavali dead

Mulki/Saudi: Two persons from Karavali died in a car accident that took place near Jubail in Saudi Arabia in Thursday morning. A few others who were travelling along in the car have escaped with minor injuries.
The deceased are identified as Mulki Basrikatte M K Abdulla Khader (79) and his son-in-law K Abdulla Khader (58), originally from Parkala near Udupi.
Mulki Basrikatte M K Abdulla Khader was the head of the family and was indulged in fish manure business. He was also an honorary president of the Masjid near Mulki and was part of several social service associations. He had been on Umrah pilgrimage and was preparing to return back home when the accident occurred.
It is been learnt that K Abdulla Khader’s wife, two sons and their wives were in the car during the incident. His other two sons were back in the hometown itself.
Abdulla Kadher went to Saudi when he was 17 years old and worked for 40 years at a prestigious company there. He has also provided employment to several youths from his hometown.
Final rites in Saudi
Sources from the family have informed that the final rites of the deceased will be conducted in Saudi itself.
