Govt to issue debt-relief certificates in two taluks

Mandya: Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy informed that the Karnataka government will formally launch the process of loan waiver by issuing debt-relief certificates on Saturday.

In the first phase of the project, the government has decided to issue debt-relief certificates for 44 lakh farmer families of Sedam and Doddaballapur taluks of Mandya district. 

Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy will participate in the programme in Doddaballapur, while Social Welfare Minister Priyank Kharge will initiate the process in Doddaballapur, informed sources.
