Bengaluru: Former CM Siddaramaiah in a tweet said that Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi insulted the entire womankind by insulting widows.

Recently PM who was addressing an election rally in Rajasthan said that the Congress was misusing the widow pension scam. The scam took place under the previous Congress regimes and Congress leaders stole the public’s money, he alleged.

PM had also said that the unborn girls were listed as widows and accepted pensions and had questioned Which Congress widow was this whose bank account received this money?”.

Following Modi’s speech, Siddaramaiah took to Twitter and said that the PM has not only insulted the widows but entire womankind. PM has also forgotten that mother is also a widow, he added.
