Mangaluru: A two day national level ‘Dog Show’ has been organized by the Karavali Canine Club (KCC) at Nehru Maidan and on the first day of the competition, over 110 breeds of dogs participated in it. The competition was inaugurated by former mayor K Ashraf on Saturday Dec 7th.

One part of the ground has been allocated for the various competitions for the canines in which the owners of the animals trotted and galloped their pets. Many owners were seen combing, feeding, giving water to their canines of different breeds all over the field. The dog show attracted several vistors who admired the man’s best friend and clicked selfies with them.

Around 110 canines participated in the national level competition and displayed their skills along with their masters and trainers. However, some dogs disappointed their owners as they did not open their mouths for the judges to inspect their teeth. Dogs from Bengaluru, Shimoga and Kerala took part in the show. The show will end on Sunday Dec 9th.
