Police shoot sandalwood thief who attacked on duty cops

Bengaluru: A sandalwood thief was arrested after he was shot at by a police personnel attached to the Cubbon Park station on late Monday, December 10 night.
The accused is identified as Mujahiddin Ulva.
It is gathered that Mujahiddin attacked two on-duty policemen – PSI Raheem and constable Krishna Murthy. On seeing his colleagues in danger Inspector Iyanna Reddy shot Mujahiddin in the leg.
Mujahiddin was immediately rushed to Bowring hospital and is currently undergoing treatment.
