Special Bandra-M’luru train from Dec 25

Mangaluru: In order to clear the extra rush of passengers during Christmas and New Year, the Konkan Railway in co-ordination with Western Railway will run holiday special trains between Bandra (T) and Mangaluru Junction.

Trains

Train No 09009 Bandra (T) – Mangaluru Jn Weekly Special (Special Fare) will leave from Bandra (T) at 23:55 hrs on Tuesdays, on December 25 and on January 1, 2019. And reach Mangaluru Jn at 19:45 hrs the following day.

Train No 09010 Mangaluru Jn – Bandra (T) Weekly Special (Special Fare) will leave from Mangaluru Jn at 23:00 hrs on Wednesdays, December 26 and January 2-2019 and reach Bandra (T) at 19:30 hrs the following day.

Halts

Along their route, the trains will stop at Borivali, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road-Byndoor, Kundapura, Udupi, Mulki and Suratkal railway stations.

The train will comprise 2 Tier AC – 1 coach, 3 Tier AC – 4 coaches, sleeper – 10 coaches, General – 3 coaches, pantry car – 1, generator cum SLR – 2.
